Clif Bar (Review)

If I were stranded on a desert island with only a lifetime supply of White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Clif Bars to eat I would live out the rest of my days a happy man. No Bullshit!

While I do not typically eat Clif Bars during a run (too dense), they are my go to, soft and chewy  snack to beat back hunger in between workouts. 260 calories and 41 grams of carbohydrates from mostly organic sources makes them an ideal, low volume (2.4oz per bar) energy source for endurance athletes.

At just under 6 dollars a box they are a little expensive, in my opinion, but well worth the cost.

Clif Bars are also easy on the stomach. In the morning before a long run I’ll typically wash down two bars with a glass of Chocolate Hammer Vegan Protein without any gastric distress.
