Udo’s Choice Wholesome Fast Food Blend (Review)

Everybody knows about Udo’s Oil, but there is another Udo’s product from Flora Health that I like better. Udo’s Choice Wholesome Fast Food Blend.

Udo's Choice Wholesome Fast Food Blend combines the essential fatty acid benefits found in other Udo's products with loads of fiber, over 45 nutrients, and and "earthy" great taste.

This product comes in an amber tinted glass jar and has a soft grainy, but not-quite-powdery consistency. Being brown its not much to look at, which is more than compensated for by its pleasant, mildly sweet taste, reminiscent of a bakery fresh bran muffin.

Sure the fiber provides the added bonus of keeping you regular, but we’re not talking about Metamucil here folks. The primary benefits of Udo’s Choice Wholesome Fast Food are its “
vitamins, minerals, Essential Fatty Acids, protein, enzymes, greens and phytonutrients.” It is a low calorie, filling energy source that I find useful in maintaining my overall health and staving off hunger during training.

I typically consume Udo’s Choice Wholesome Fast Food in a tall glass of water at breakfast, but it can also be added to smoothies, salads and other dishes.

Wholesome Fast Food Blend® contains a blend of over 45 nutrients such as spirulina, chlorella, broccoli, parsley, kale, bee pollen, red beet, sprouted soybeans and cereal grasses of barley, oat, rye and alfalfa. Wholesome Fast Food Blend® can be added to juice or water, sprinkled on salads, stirred into soups, casseroles and cereals, or blended into protein shakes, buttermilk and fruit or yogurt smoothies to replace a meal.
