This mild mannered 8.3%ABV / 16IBU porter pours a little thinner and paler than I typically expect from a porter but isn't lacking on aroma and flavor.
Mosey up to the glass with that big honker of yours and delight in the fruity tartness of blackberry and bourbon(y) vanilla that come across here like cherry Gose and with a school of black cherry ice cream.
That fruity tartness follows through to the taste, but adds more barrel in the form a high school wood shop tanic oak note.
The mouthfeel is surprisingly light and airy with ample carbonation pushing the flavors around the mouth as the beer circles the drain of eternity on the way to your delighted stomach.
